I found all my old drawings yesterday. I've been drawing for a really long time, but I think I started saving my stuff as far as back 1997. It's kind of encouraging because I see how much I've improved and progressed, yet I'm still not happy with where I'm at. It appears I was better at drawing animals than anime, though (I started drawing anime back in 2000). I used to draw a lot more back in those days, too. Now I don't hardly ever draw. I keep telling myself I need to get back into it, but I'm just so discouraged. I've really lost a lot of confidence, and there's a bunch of other stuff involved that I can't really put into words. It's like I hate the movement my hand makes, or the lines I make, or something. I feel like the motions are so old. I don't know, does that make any sense? At least I went to school. I believe that helped a lot in encouraging me and helping me to find different approaches.

What's really funny is seeing the drawings I was so proud of at the time, and now I sort of cringe when I look at them. XD
